Angela Ross Hay, M.D. - wife of Jeffrey Hay, M.D. Both with Health Care Partners in Los Angeles, California Read the malpractice Lawsuit below. If your HMO assigns you to this woman make sure that you clearly understand what type of medicine she practices. I think that she does know how to get the most money for herself out of capitated health insurance plans. We would never recommend anyone, including an enemy become her patient. Certainly any person we cared about we would truly make aware of what she did to our father, Adam Wesley Arnold. Her medical care is why our father, Adam Wesley Arnold landed in the Kaiser Permanente Health Care system. This is the person responsible for ordering our Dad over sedated, tied down in a hospital bed for months against his will, ordering two operations performed that were not needed but did rake in a tidy sum of money for the docs involved, transferred him from one hospital to another that is now shut down permanently for violations so numerous and so dangerous that Charles Dickens couldn't have conceived how horrible an experience it was for our father after Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, California raised a lot of questions about her medical care of patients. Dad was transferred from Huntington to St. Lukes by trickery. There was no medical need to have transferred him. Huntington had just caught what she was doing and she was being watched of our in my opinion. She also did concoct a new dire medical condition to bill SCAN Senior insurance for every three days. Yes, under this doctors care our Dad had every disease you can think of, from Parkinsons to leukemia. Every three days a brand new diagnosis. The only time I saw her back down with one of these diagnoses was when she claimed our father was bleeding internally from a sudden overnight development of leukemia and claimed he needed blood transfusions. As soon as we all told her that we would donate the blood and would not allow the hospital blood bank to provide the blood, Dad had an immediate miracle cure from leukemia. She never brought that topic up again after that incident. SCAN pays doctors really well for in hospital anything. If his health had not been weakened under this persons medical care, if that is what it must be called, our father would never had to have been switched over to Kaiser just to get another doctor to undo the damage caused by greed. Some doctors know how to sucker a medical system and related insurance companies really well. Unfortuantely for patients with good insurance, insurance companies are not yet often brave enough to help patients and their families formally remove assigned doctors from a patients care. That is just our opinion and you can form your own opinion by doing a little bit of research.
